I thought the days of dealing with face painters using acrylic paint were long gone. I guess I was wrong! Acrylic paint is exteamly cheep to buy and easy to get. Years ago quality face paints were hard to find, that is no longer the case. Yes, they are pricey but that is no excuse to ever use acrylic paint on anyones face! Please hire face painters that use high quality face painting make-up that goes through the same testing as all makeup products. FYI, Caran d'Ache is not face painting make-up. If you are ever in question about the paint your volunteers are using at your event, please call me and I will share whatever knowledge I have! Getting ready to leave for my next event. I never would have thought that Sept would be my busiest time of the year! Find me today and tomorrow at Taste of Lonetree! Jack the Otter is the official mascot of Health One. Talent West and Mime Time are now providing the team that makes Jack great. This Saturday come meet Jack at the play area in Cherry Creek Shopping Mall from 11:00 to 3:00. Take pictures and post Jack on your face book and other social media!

I used a lovely red henna that I got from my friend Anita (Hummingbird Henna) did my usually prep but used only Lavender essential oil. It stained beautifully but lasted only a few days prior to fading. I wonder if it was because of the placement on the head where the skin is relatively thin, or if it was because I only used Lavender to terp.

What a joy! Mary is a delight, a beautiful canvass, and a joyful person. I am so greatful she choose me to do her henna crown. I Hope these pictures bring a smile to your face too.
This afternoon I am meeting a lovely woman who has Alopecia. I am excited to meet Mary and create my first henna crown. I am hoping to have some beautiful photo's to share.
