I thought the days of dealing with face painters using acrylic paint were long gone. I guess I was wrong! Acrylic paint is exteamly cheep to buy and easy to get. Years ago quality face paints were hard to find, that is no longer the case. Yes, they are pricey but that is no excuse to ever use acrylic paint on anyones face! Please hire face painters that use high quality face painting make-up that goes through the same testing as all makeup products. FYI, Caran d'Ache is not face painting make-up. If you are ever in question about the paint your volunteers are using at your event, please call me and I will share whatever knowledge I have! Check out this article about what happened at the New Mexico State Fair! http://www.kob.com/article/stories/S3565953.shtml#.VC1bxUslbLT

Here are some pictures that might help you guess what your face painter may be using. You want to see your artist using products that resembles the first picture.
