Abbie is all of the characters in Mime Time's "cabalcade of stars!"

Abbie Lawrence has been a variety artist and children's entertainer in Denver since she founded Mime Time in 1982. Before that, she studied dance, theater, mime, clowning, and juggling at New York State University at Brockport, professional workshops, and professional conventions. She began her performing career with the Alley Kazam Sidewalk Circus in Rochester, New York in 1979. Mime Time is fully insured.

Since founding Mime Time, Abbie has performed at thousands of private parties and public events. Add to this outdoor festivals, dozens of schools and daycare centers, scores of businesses, and thousands of happy parents.

Abbie has also taught dozens of workshops and classes for libraries, schools, religious centers, art centers, among others.

In addition, Abbie has participated in three overseas tours for the Armed Forces Professional Entertainment Office, performing for military personnel and local civilians and their children in Italy, Spain, England, Scotland, Germany, Turkey, and the Azores.

Abbie has been a member of the International Jugglers Association since 1979, and helped organize its 1988 convention in Denver. She is also a member of the World Clowning Association, and has continued to develop her skills in master classes with many internationally known artists. Mime Time is a fully insured professional children's entertainment company.
